Founded by Jim Cook the company was originally known as Northwood Light Engineering and started trading in January 1960. On the 1st May 1962 the company was incorporated and registered as a private limited company.

The Company specialised in metalwork and general engineering services from workshops in Northwood, Middlesex.
Over a period of time the Company became involved in general industrial/commercial property maintenance. On the 12th September 1997 the Company name is changed to MCM Facilities Management Limited.

We now cover all aspects of property maintenance, reactive, estimated and pre-planned. We are accredited by ‘BSI ISO 45001’, ‘SAFE Contractor’ & ‘Contractor PLUS’. Our client list includes most of the major managing agents and we also work with two NHS trusts. In addition, we partner a number of larger FM providers.
Our main offices situated at Netley Abbey gives us geographical strength on the South Coast and Home Counties. In addition, we have a London team and are also developing trades in the Midlands.
